We believe everyone should be rewarded and recognized for their accomplishments to build their most precious assets: their self-esteem and confidence in themselves. We do this by creating products that can be displayed proudly, are fun to collect and are unique to each individual's talents and interests. It captures a snapshot of who they are and what they can become.
E-Patches & Crests (www.e-patchesandcrests.com) is an online business located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. We design and create fun in-stock, and custom embroidered patches, woven patches, printed patches, PVC patches, charms, lapel pins and stickers. Our primary market is the Guiding and Scouting communities across Canada and worldwide. Our secondary markets include recreation, sports and culture, non-profits, education, emergency services, businesses, and retailers, to name a few.
By following a proven quotation process, you will be required to provide quotes for patches (embroidered, woven, and heat transfer varieties), lapel pins, charms, and stickers in a timely and accurate manner.
Preference will be given to those candidates living in Alberta.
Prepare and provide quotations to customers.
Provide customer service via email and phone.
Obtain customer permissions for marketing use.
Process vector artwork orders and custom reorders.
Sales experience is an asset
Attention to detail is part of your nature
Proficiency with Gmail
Good working knowledge of Adobe
Ability to learn new software programs quickly
Ability to calculate pricing outside the scope of the quote generator
Prepare and write quotations with an explanation of production specifications or helpful advice
Strong initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others
Have strong interpersonal skills
Ideal Candidate: You are enthusiastic, hard-working, honest, organized, and positive. You are a team player who cares about your work, is a quick learner with strong computer skills, and pays attention to detail. You can follow directions and are willing to work remotely with a proper work from home setup.
Timeline: This position starts when we find the right person.
Hours: Be flexible to work 30+ hours a week between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
Compensation: Compensation will be determined based on experience, with a minimum of $20.00 an hour.

As a Graphic Designer / Illustrator your primary responsibility will be designing patches for both our custom orders and our own in-stock designs. You will be able to create designs from written descriptions or sketches supplied by customers. These along with other exciting design projects such as lapel pins, charms or stickers will allow you to contribute to the growth and success of an innovative and exciting online company.
Have experience with:
Ideal candidate: Will be creative and self-motivated. Experience designing logos and other illustrative work is required due to the nature of the position. The ideal candidate should also have great organization and communication skills, be able to follow directions, learn technical reproduction requirements, and be eager and motivated to contribute to ongoing projects.
Having been or still a Girl Guide / Scout member is desirable but optional.
Timeline: This is a virtual work from home part-time position that starts immediately that could lead to full-time.
Compensation: To be determined based on experience. This is a contract position.
