For over 19 years, EPC has been producing high-quality, professionally designed custom patches and crests for customers worldwide! We are pleased to announce that we offer custom charm patches. These patches come with loops that you can hang charms from, or let you hang the patch from a button.
The backing is what is on the other side of the crest when you turn it over. We currently only offer heat-stick backing for our charm patches. The links are sewn onto the back and you can choose how many loops you would like with your design. This means you can iron them onto fabric.
For more information on attaching patches, please see our Iron-On Instructions.
A patch is made up of twill, stitching and a border. If you would like to see an example, visit our page on Custom Embroidered Patches. Charm patches also come with five loops at the bottom to which you can attach charms. You can also order a loop at the top to hang the patch from a button.
When placing your order, please indicate the patch width you want to create. To determine the overall size of the patch, add the width and height together and divide the total by 2. For example: 4.5" wide x 1.5" high equals 6" and divided by two equals 3" for the overall size. EPC Tip: Minimum text size will be 18 pts when stitched.
All custom order prices include 9 free thread colours. Additional colours, metallic threads and glow-in-the-dark threads are also available (additional charges apply). Let us know your thread preferences in the comments field on our request form.

Merrow borders are a thick stitch that is applied to the edge after embroidery and cutting, which provides a finished trim and bulkier edge. It also makes it easier to hand sew. We also offer Laser Cut - Stitched borders. Cut to shape; this border option is perfect for custom shapes.
